Can I Request the music I want played?
The short answer is absolutely! We always welcome requests
before and during events as long as they are acceptable to your
event.
•
Will I have a
qualified DJ at my event and will I be able to meet them?
Each entertainer working for Wellspring Entertainment has been
through a training process (including on-the-job) to ensure each
event is given the highest standard of entertainment and
customer service. Entertainers are assigned no later than thirty
days prior to the event (time permitting) and will contact you
to set up a meeting either in person or on the phone to finalize
the details of your event.
•
When will my DJ
arrive and how will they be dressed at my event?
The disc jockey should arrive no less than thirty (30) minutes
prior to the contracted time. You may request that the disc
jockey arrive sooner than the above stated time, however,
additional charges may apply. We have three basic attires that
will
complement
your event. For all weddings, corporate, and
other requested events the entertainers will be dressed in
tuxedos or formal attire. Our semi-formal attire is shirt & tie
(men) or semi-formal is dresses (women). Our casual dress is
company golf shirts and slacks or shorts. Entertainers will
dress in the appropriate and requested attire. Finally, the
entertainers, upon request, can also dress in costume when
appropriate.
•
Can/Should I provide a meal for the disc jockey?
If
you would
like to provide us with a meal please discuss it first with your
DJ. Vendor meals are often available for us without additional
cost being incurred by you. We will make this arrangement with
the banquet staff upon our arrival. Our staff members have been
instructed to never consume alcoholic beverages during
their performance time. However, providing ice water and/or soft
drinks is greatly appreciated.
•
Can/Should I tip my disc jockey?
Unlike many other service professionals we do not contractually
add service charges or gratuities (unless requested by the
client). After considering the pre-planning with your DJ, the
level of service and quality of presentation along with your
overall enjoyment, we believe you should decide for yourself
what level of gratuity you would like to give. As a
reference, a tip of 10% - 15% is most common.
